There are several shipping methods when you buy a safe. The method that you choose depends on the weight of the safes. Up to a 100 lbs, you might choose to deliver the safe to your door.
Over a 100 lbs, if it is a business you can ship the safes as "dock to dock", which does not involve a liftgate to take the safe out of the track.
If it is a residence you might use a liftgate service as well, to get the safe to ground level.
If you want an inside delivery , you get a full placement service, that includes stairs and placing the safe in the right place.
Usually, the common carrier will call you ahead of time, to let you know they are coming to deliver the safe.
