Those safes were tested for holding content in a fire for the duration of up to two or three hours. Most brands, like Sentry, Gardall, Fire Fyter, Honeywell have their products rated by UL.

But, there is nothing proof in the security business, so you might consider call these safes as fire resistant safes. The safes can hold the content inside the safe for a certain amount of time before the content is damaged.
